Día 3o: El Escorial y Encuentro Con Nuestras Familias

Nosotros fuimos a un monasterio y palacio que se llama El Escorial. Nosotros necesitamos ir en un autobús por una hora para llegar a El Escorial. Casi todas las personas dormimos en el autobús. Todos estábamos cansados. Cuando nosotros entramos en El Escorial necesitamos caminar por una maquina de seguridad y necesitamos poner nuestras mochilas en el cuarto especial. Un hombre viejo nos guió alrededor de El Escorial. El palacio fue muy grande y muy bonito. Primero, nosotros entramos en una biblioteca. Nos gusto la biblioteca mucho porque todas las personas en el viaje podíamos decir “Donde está la biblioteca” (esto es un chiste). Hay muchas salas en el palacio de El Escorial. También vimos el Panteón de los Reyes (Habsburgos y Borbones) donde están enterrados todos los reyes, reinas, e infantes de España. Nuestro grupo camino muy lento y perdimos el autobús a Madrid por eso nosotros esperamos por diez minutos para otro autobús. Cuando el autobús llego nosotros tomamos el autobús. Una vez mas, todos dormimos durante el viaje a Madrid. Cuando nosotros bajamos del autobús tuvimos que ir al metro. Halley fue la jefa de nuestra pandilla y fue muy buena y por eso no nos perdimos. Nosotros necesitamos coger nuestras cosas del hotel. Cuando nosotros recibimos nuestras cosas nosotros fuimos al aeropuerto. Nosotros tomamos el metro para ir al aeropuerto. Cuando nosotros llegamos al aeropuerto nosotros dimos las maletas a las personas en el aeropuerto y recibimos nuestros billetes muy rápido. Luego pasamos por la línea de seguridad. No había cola y terminamos muy rápido. Después de la línea de seguridad nosotros fuimos almorzar. Nosotros comimos donde quisimos en el aeropuerto. Después de comer en Subway Gabriella y yo fuimos a muchos tiendas para comprar revistas y mucho chiclet para el avión. Después de comprar lo que yo necesitaba nosotras nos fuimos a la puerta de embarqué para nuestro avion. Nosotros necesitamos esperar por mucho tiempo. Gabby tenia una pelota y nosotros tiramos la pelota alredor del aeropuerto y nosotros jugamos a las cartas. Nosotros jugamos Texas Holdem y Mierda. El vuelo fue muy corto. Cuando nosotros bajamos del avión nosotros vimos a nuestros familias. Yo vi a mi hermana Espínola y ella corrió a mi. Después de recoger nuestras maletas nosotros fuimos con nuestras familias. Nosotros tenemos un viajé larga a Pontevedra de 45 minutos. Cuando yo llegue at mi casa mi madre Española me mostró la casa. Me gusto mucho. Yo organice mis cosas y a las 21h00 yo cene con mi familia. Yo comí pollo, una ensalada con huevo, tomate, y papas fritas. Me gusto mucho. Yo estoy muy feliz con mi familia y me encanta España!

We went to a monastery and palace that is called El Escorial. We needed to take a bus for an hour to get there. Most of us slept on the bus.  Everyone was tired. When we entered El Escorial we needed to go through security and put our bags in a room in front of the palace. An older man, our guide, took us around El Escorial. The palace was very big and very pretty. First, we entered the library. We liked the library a lot because everyone on the trip can say, “ Where is the library” (this is a joke based on a You Tube video) in Spanish. There were a lot of rooms in the palace. We saw the Royal Pantheon where all the kings, queens, princes, and princesses of the Spanish Monarchy are buried (Hapsburgs & Bourbons).  Our group walked very slowly so we missed our bus back to Madrid. We had to wait ten more minutes for another bus to come. When the bus arrived we got on it. Most of us slept on the bus again. When we got off the bus we needed to take the metro. Halley was our fearless leader on the metro and she was very good so we did not get lost. We needed our bags from the hotel. When we got out bags we went to Barajas Airport. We took the metro to the airport. When we arrived in the airport we needed to give our bags to the workers at the airport and we got our boarding passes really fast. Next we had to pass security checkpoint. There were no lines and we finished fast. After security, we needed to eat lunch. We ate wherever we wanted. After Subway Gabby and I went to stores to buy magazines and gum for the plane. After I bought what I needed, we met at the gate. We had to wait for a long time. Gabby had a tennis ball and we played catch and played with cards. We played Texas Holdem and BS.  The flight was very short.  When we got off the plane and went towards baggage claim we could see our Spanish siblings through a window. After we received our bags we went with our families. My Spanish sister ran to hug me. We had a long 45 minute car ride to Pontevedra. When I arrived in my house mi madre showed me the house. I love the house and my family. I unpacked and organized my stuff and at 10:00pm I had dinner with the family. I had chicken, a salad with eggs, tomatoes and French fries. I liked it a lot. I am very happy with my family and I love Spain!!!!
