Hoy fue el ultimo día para el grupo en Galicia. Yo me desperté a las diez. Entonces mi madre Ana, hermano Michael, prima Alba y yo fuimos a Pontevedra. Necesitamos obtener permiso de la policía para el pasaporte de Michael. En España, necesitas permiso de la policía para viajar a otros países. Porque Michael va a venir a los Estados Unidos en Septiembre, necesitó obtener permiso hoy.
Después de visitar la policía, fuimos a una tienda de dulces. ¡Mi madre me compró muchos dulces para el tren por la noche! Eran las doce y media cuando salimos de Pontevedra. Para mi fue mi ultima vez en la ciudad. Estaba muy triste cuando salí de Pontevedra hoy. Entonces fuimos a un parque en las montañas cerca de Pontevedra. ¡Las vistas fueron increíbles! Sacamos muchas fotos de las vistas. Hoy las temperaturas eran altas, y hacía sol. ¡Me gustan estas temperaturas, mejor que las temperaturas en el verano en New Jersey!
Almorzamos en una pizzería con mi padre, Juan. Yo comí una pizza con jamón. Mi familia y yo hablamos sobre muchas cosas. Me preguntaron si yo volveré a Galicia en el futuro. Les dije que yo quiero volver, pero no sé. Cuando regresamos a casa, mi madre y yo necesitamos preparar mi maleta para el viaje a Madrid. Yo pasé tiempo con Michael antes de marcharme.
Conducimos a la estación de tren a las ocho y diez. Llegamos a la estación tren a las ocho y media. Todo el grupo estaba allí. Los Americanos se despidieron de las familias Españolas. Todos estaban tristes. Los Americanos subieron al tren y salieron de Pontevedra.
El tren fue muy largo, pero no había mucho espacio para vivir y dormir. Maestra nos dijo las reglas para el viaje a Madrid. Charley, Alex M. y yo compartimos un cuarto. Comimos mis dulces (con ayuda de Lauren, Gabby y Alex T). Nos divertimos esta noche en el tren. Por la mañana, llegamos a Madrid. Nosotros no estamos en Galicia ahora, pero nos vamos a recordar de nuestras experiencias en Galicia siempre. Galicia estará en nuestros corazones siempre.

Today was the group’s final day in Galicia. I woke up at 10:00. My mother Ana, brother Michael, and cousin Alba went to Pontevedra. We needed to obtain permission from the police for Michael’s passport. The Spanish need to obtain permission from their local authorities before they can travel abroad. Because Michael is coming to the United States in September, he needed to obtain permission today.
After visiting the police, we went to a candy store. My mother bought me a lot of candy for the train at night! It was 12:30 when we left Pontevedra. For me, it was my final time in the city. I was very sad when I left Pontevedra today. Then we went to a park in the mountains near Pontevedra. The views were awesome! We took many photos of the views. The temperatures were very high today, and it was sunny. I like these temperatures more than the summer temperatures in New Jersey!
 We ate lunch in a pizzeria with my father, Juan. I ate a pizza with ham. My family and I talked about much. They asked me if I will return to Galicia in the future. I told them that I want to return, but I don’t know if I will. When we returned home, my mother and I packed my luggage for the journey to Madrid. I spent time with Michael before we left.
We drove to the train station at 8:10. We arrived at 8:30. The whole group was there. The Americans said goodbye to the Spanish families. Everyone was sad. The Americans boarded the train and left Pontevedra.
The train was very large, but there wasn’t much living and sleeping space. Maestra McNeilly –Anta told us the rules for the train ride. Charley, Alex M. and I shared a room. We ate my candy (with help from Lauren, Gabby and Alex T.) We had fun tonight on the train. In the morning, we will be in Madrid. We are not in Galicia now, but we will remember our time there forever. Galicia will always be in our hearts.
